Venus de Milo Sculpture Fragment

Departing from the idealized forms of Classical sculpture, works of the Greek Hellenistic period embraced naturalism, depicting realistic anatomy and poses that expressed movement. Our sculpture fragment, an homage to the Venus de Milo created in 100 BC, captures the spirit of that period, with fine detail, graceful draping and a subtle twist of the torso that lends dynamism to the piece.
